Hasbro Bringing Back Indiana Jones Toys

If you’ve been jonesing (pun intended) for some new Indiana Jones action figures, you’re in luck.

In a press release issued today, Hasbro announced it had not only extended a contract with Lucasfilm to produce Star Wars merchandise, it had secured the license for Indiana Jones products as well. Hasbro has not produced Indy action figures in particular since 2011, when it released a boxed set of Raiders of the Lost Ark figures as a San Diego Comic Con exclusive.

According to the release, collectors can expect to see new merchandise in 2023, to coincide with the release of Indiana Jones 5.

Steve Evans, Hasbro’s Product Design Director for Marvel and a self-described toy enthusiast, broke the news on his Instagram account.

“Today is certainly NOT a ‘Bad Date’, Evans said in the post. “Super excited to finally be able to share with you all that we will be bringing a NEW line of Indiana Jones product to you all in 2023. And ooooooh you are in for a treat.”

Indiana Jones 5 is scheduled to open in theaters on June 30, 2023.
