‘Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Premiere Date, Poster Revealed by Disney+

In a company earnings call on Wednesday afternoon, Disney CEO Bob Chapek announced the premiere date for Obi-Wan Kenobi, the Star Wars series for Disney+.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will premiere on Wednesday, May 25, just before the Memorial Day weekend. May 25th is a date with much significance to Star Wars fans. The announcement was made the same day that the Season 1 finale of The Book of Boba Fett premiered on Disney+. A poster for the series was released as well.

Ewan McGregor returns as Obi-Wan, with Hayden Christensen also returning as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader. Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie also appear in the series.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is executive produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, McGregor and Joby Harold.
