Watch a Clip from ‘Star Wars: Andor’

Star Wars: Andor, the prequel to the prequel to the original Star Wars, premieres on Disney+ on September 21, and we have a clip from the show to check out!

Three episodes will premiere on the 21st, with this clip (featured below) from the third episode. Diego Luna reprises the role of Cassian Andor, and the series covers his journey in becoming a Rebel spy who will help steal the Death Star plans. The series will begin five years before the events in Rogue One.

The series also features Genevieve O’Reilly returning as Mon Mothma and Forest Whitaker reprising his Saw Gerrera character from Rogue One. Also appearing in the series are Adria Arjona as Bix Caleen, Stellan SkÃ¥rsgard as Luthen Rael, Kyle Soller, Denise Gough as Dedra Meero, Robert Emms as Supervisor Jones, and Alex Ferns as Sgt. Kostek.

The first season will feature 12 episodes that take place over the course of a year, and will feature Toby Haynes, Ben Caron, and Susanna White among the directors. Season two, also 12 episodes, will use a three-episode block to cover a year’s events. Year two will take place in episodes one through three, year three will take place in episodes four through six, year four will be covered in episodes seven through nine, with the rest of the season covering year five. The finale will cover events up to the beginning of Rogue One.

Tony Gilroy, who oversaw the reshoots and rewrites for Rogue One, is the creator and executive producer of the series. He also wrote several episodes.
