Watch: Carl Lumbly Discusses ‘Captain America: Brave New World’

Actor Carl Lumbly returns as Isaiah Bradley in Marvel’s Captain America: Brave New World, and at the film’s premiere, Lumbly chatted with The Hollywood Reporter about his experience working with Harrison Ford, praising his professionalism on the set.

He also spoke of his joy in reprising the Isaiah Bradley character, continuing his storyline from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. While the TV series ended with Bradley finally getting the recognition he deserved, in the new film, he finds himself pulled into a global conspiracy against Ford’s President Ross.

Speaking of Ford, who is making his MCU debut with the film, Lumbly said “He is consumate in every way.” He also praised his energy on the set, noting “He’s older than I am.”
