First Trailer for Gina Carano’s ‘Terror on the Prairie’ Released
A year ago, Disney/Lucasfilm fired “The Mandalorian” star Gina Carano for speaking out against the hysteria and divisiveness of cancel culture. Now, the first trailer for her comeback film has arrived: Terror on the Prairie.
The film is directed by Michael Polish (Northfork) and tells the story of a frontier woman (Carano) who must protect herself against a ruthless gang of outlaws hell-bent on revenge on the Montana plains. Nick Searcy (“Justified”), Samaire Armstrong, Heath Freeman, Matthias Hues, and Gabriel-Kane Day Lewis.
The film will stream online this summer for subscribers of The Daily Wire (click here to subscribe). A theatrical or home video release has not been announced.
The film marks the beginning of Carano’s response against the censorship of Hollywood’s cancel culture. “I am sending out a direct message of hope to everyone living in fear of cancellation by the totalitarian mob,” Carano told The Daily Wire last year, when she initially signed on to the film. “I have only just begun using my voice which is now freer than ever before, and I hope it inspires others to do the same. They can’t cancel us if we don’t let them.”
