New ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ Trailer Teases ‘Dark Side’ Rey

This past weekend at Disney’s D23 Fan Expo, Lucasfilm revealed what they called a “special look” at Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker. It’s basically another teaser trailer, and it contains one jaw-dropping moment.

The trailer opens with shots from the previous films, but ends with a number of new scenes from The Rise of Skywalker. That last shot features Rey in a hooded cloak and a red double-bladed lightsaber, teasing a possible turn to the Dark Side.
