Baby Yoda Met George Lucas – and Jon Favreau Got a Picture
This will be a day long remembered.
“The Mandalorian” creator Jon Favreau has shared a photo of George Lucas meeting the show’s star: Baby Yoda.
Although it isn’t clear when the picture was taken, Favreau had previously mentioned that Lucas had visited the set of the show while it was filming and provided some input.
It appears the photo, which Favreau shared on his social media accounts, was taken at the time, but he is only sharing it now.
Lucas is friends with Favreau and with series executive producer Dave Filoni, who worked closely with him on “The Clone Wars” animated series prior to the sale of Lucasfilm to Disney.
The picture features Lucas cradling the Baby Yoda puppet, like a proud grandpa, which sent the internet into a frenzy.
