Some jerk is selling old Star Wars toy tape on eBay

Some people think Star Wars fans will buy anything. That is the only explanation behind this: an eBay auction for pieces of tape used in the packaging of vintage Star Wars toys! According to the seller, the auction is for “ten pieces of tape that held a Star Wars figure weapon
or accessory in place within the bubble. There are four pieces of clear
tape and they are still very sticky. The pieces that have yellowed are
fairly dry. As a bonus there are two plastic backings one of which is
from a Lobot. These are 100% vintage and original.”

At least the seller is only asking for $8 and not thousands in Republic Credits. Still, we couldn’t help but think this at seeing this auction:
