Will Smith Shares First Image From ‘Bad Boys for Life’

Will Smith has shared the first official image from the set of the third Bad Boys film, Bad Boys for Life.

The long-delayed sequel has finally begun production, 16 years after the last sequel, Bad Boys II, was released in 2003.

The image shows Smith and Lawrence, reprising their roles as Detectives Mike Lowery and Marcus Burnett. Joe Pantoliano, who played Captain Howard, is also returning from the previous films.

Joining the cast are Vanessa Hudgens and Alexander Ludwig. A preliminary release date of January 17, 2020 has been announced.

Here is the image from the set, as posted to Will Smith’s Instagram account.

Martin Lawrence first announced a sequel was coming back in 2013, in an interview with Conan O’Brien. It’s taken years to finally get the film going, with Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah directing. Jerry Bruckheimer is once again producing.
