WATCH: Jason Clarke Discusses ‘Pet Sematary’ (VIDEO)

Actor Jason Clarke recently sat down for an interview in which he discussed his latest film, the big-screen adaptation of Stephen King’s classic horror novel Pet Sematary. Highlights from the interview can be seen below.

Clarke describes the book, and the film, as more “deeply disturbing” than “scary,” as it explores the implications of death.

Pet Sematary follows Dr. Louis Creed (Jason Clarke), who relocates with his wife Rachel (Amy Seimetz) and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine. There, they discover a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home.

When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall (John Lithgow), setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences. The film opens nationwide April 5.
