New Avengers Endgame Poster Confirms One Character’s Fate

Marvel Studios revealed a number of new posters Tuesday, highlighting both the victims and the survivors of the “Thanos Snap.” However, one of the posters revealed a victim whose fate was not seen in the films.

The 32 portrait posters, which can be seen below, are split between two groups: color posters for those who survived, and black and white for those who turned to dust.

Most of the posters featured characters whose fates we already knew, but one poster is making headlines: the poster for Princess Shuri, the Wakandan scientist and sister to T’Challa, otherwise known as Black Panther.

Played by actress Leticia Wright, Shuri was one of the characters featured on a poster whose fate was not seen in the film (another, Valkyrie, is alive). While directors The Russo Brothers had said in an interview that Shuri survived, now we know that’s not the case.

Here’s the poster, confirming that Shuri “died” in the Thanos Snap.

Needless to say, some were upset.

Others, however, point out the obvious.

For everyone getting upset that Shuri was taken out by Thanos, don't be a sucker. She, like Black Panther and Spiderman, will be back shortly.
