‘X-Men’ Films Coming to Disney+ This Summer

Disney+ will be adding more of the X-Men films in July, which will please many Marvel fans who need a mutant fix this summer.

The four films, which Disney now owns after the acquisition of 20th Century Fox, will be added one at a time each Friday beginning July 10.

The X-Men films coming to Disney+ are:

Friday, July 10

X-Men: Days of Future Past. This 2014 time-travel adventure did the almost-unthinkable: combine the two X-Men film series into one coherent timeline. With the Sentinels about to wipe out the last mutants on Earth, Wolverine is sent by Professor X (Patrick Stewart) on a mission back in time to convince his younger self (played by James McAvoy) to stop a chain of events that will eventually doom them all.

Friday, July 17

X-Men: Apocalypse. This 2016 follow-up to Days of Future Past introduces Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), the very first mutant, as he attempts to take over the world. Only Professor X and his team stand in the way.

Friday, August 7

X-Men. The one that started it all in the year 2000. When Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) meets Professor X (Patrick Stewart), he learns of a coming war between mutants and man, led by Magneto (Ian McKellen).

Friday, September 4

The Wolverine. In this 2013 adventure, Logan (Hugh Jackman) travels to Japan to confront his past, only to learn he is the target of a sinister plan.
