Watch These Hasbro ‘Star Wars’ Toy Commercials From the 1990s (VIDEO)

Between 1986 and 1995, Star Wars fans had little to be excited about. While we did have Timothy Zahn’s Thrawn trilogy of books in the early 1990s, there wasn’t much in the way of merchandise.

That all changed in 1995, when Hasbro revived the Star Wars line of action figures under the Kenner banner, which it purchased in 1991. Hasbro would eventually drop the Kenner banner after a few years, but collectors were just happy to have Star Wars toys again.

This compilation of commercials runs from 1995’s “Power of the Force” line (with overly buffed figures) to 1999’s Episode I line. There are even commercials for Galoob’s “Action Fleet” line of ships.

Here’s the video of the Hasbro commercials.
