WATCH: First ‘Birds of Prey’ Trailer Released
The first trailer for DC’s Suicide Squad spinoff Birds of Prey is here, with Margot Robbie returning as Harley Quinn, as she faces off against the Black Mask (Ewan McGregor).
Birds of Prey and The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez, Chris Messina, and Ella Jay Basco. It opens February 7, 2020.
Four years after the events of Suicide Squad, Batman has disappeared, leaving Gotham City unprotected from crime. Harley Quinn has left the Joker, and faces a personal crisis. She meets Cassandra Cain, a young girl who has a diamond belonging to crime lord Black Mask. In an effort to protect her, Harley joins forces with Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya.
The film’s poster, which was released several weeks ago, echoes the trailer’s wacky style and Harley’s schizophrenic mind.
