Donald Trump Tweeted a Picture of Himself as Rocky, and the Internet Lost Its Mind
President Donald Trump set the internet ablaze Wednesday when he tweeted a doctored image showing his head on actor Sylvester Stallone’s body, as he portrayed Rocky Balboa.
The tweet seems to be an obvious response to media speculation that the President was ill or had suffered a medical emergency of some kind, after making an unannounced visit to Walter Reed Medical Center.
The White House said the President’s visit was an unannounced physical, and took place only because time opened up in his schedule.
Even so, the wild media response, which included speculation that the President had suffered a heart attack, led Trump to respond sarcastically, with his favorite tool: a meme.
As you might expect, the President’s critics were shocked and appalled at the President’s sense of humor, which has been a trend since he was elected.
Here’s the tweet that started it all.
As you might expect, the internet blew up with responses. Some loved the tweet as a dig at the press and a tongue-in-cheek joke. Others said it was indicative of what they see as the President’s pompous pride.
Some seemed to miss the point, that the picture was meant to be a joke. The President himself even seemed to relish that people found it funny, as he even retweeted Piers Morgan’s response, which was merely laughing emojis.
Ryan Fournier predicted the outrage from the Left (and the media) as soon as the picture was posted.
One guy even tried to one-up the President, with hilarious results.

Someone else took the chance to take a swipe at Kamala Harris.

The Washington Post claimed they had no idea why Trump would post such a picture, and seemed genuinely puzzled.
Mark Dice responded to The Washington Post with his theory that it was a response to the anniversary of the release of Rocky IV, which opened November 27, 1985.
Journalist Oliver Willis didn’t exactly post a non-partisan response.
Dr. Jack Brown, who calls himself a body language expert and an LGBTQ ally, used the picture to make a complete mental diagnosis of the President.
Actress Mia Farrow just couldn’t deal.

Even Luke Skywalker – Mark Hamill – was triggered, responding with obvious annoyance with Donald Trump Jr., who also posted a meme.
The President has not responded to the social media response, as he’s probably somewhere laughing and making America great again.
