Henry Golding has released the very first image from the G.I. Joe spinoff Snake Eyes!

Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins is now filming in Japan, with Golding in the lead role of the commando/ninja. The reboot is expected to be the first in a new series of G.I. Joe films.

The film also stars Samara Weaving (Scarlett), Úrsula Corberó (The Baroness), Andrew Koji (Storm Shadow), Haruka Abe (Akiko), Iko Uwais (Hard Master), and Takehiro Hira (Kenta).

Robert Schwentke will direct, with Jeff Waxman and Erik Howsam as executive producers and Kenji Tanigaki as stunt coordinator.

Last month, the start of production was announced with a press conference and photo op. You can read our coverage of the event by clicking right here.

Now, we have this first image, which appears to show his character arriving at a dojo, presumably to be taught the ways of the ninja by the Hard Master and Soft Master.
