VIDEO: Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss Spotted Filming ‘Matrix 4’ in San Francisco

The Matrix 4 is now filming in the Chinatown section of San Francisco, and fans have captured video of stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss on the set.

The film, scheduled to release in May of 2021, will hit theaters 18 years after the last Matrix film, Revolutions.

NBC Bay Area was on the scene and reported on what Keanu was doing on the set. “Spotted in the area of Kearny and Jackson streets, Reeves came out of the House of Nanking a few times and also walked over to Grasslands,” the website reported. “People in the area had their smartphones out, hoping to snap a photo of the star.”

Twitter lit up as fans began posting pics and video of the shoot. Keanu, reprising his role as Neo, was seen sporting a beard and knit cap in his scenes.

Carrie-Anne Moss, who played Trinity in the films, was spotted on the set as well.

Keanu even took the time to take pictures with fans.
