WATCH: A New DeepFake Video Puts Harrison Ford in the ‘Solo’ Movie

Remember when Solo: A Star Wars Story came out, and everyone complained that Alden Ehrenreich didn’t look like Harrison Ford? Those people can rest easy now, because a new DeepFake video (featured below) has solved that pesky problem.

YouTuber Shamook as posted a video featuring a couple of scenes from Solo, with Harrison Ford’s face plastered over Ehrenreich. And it looks a lot better than you would expect.

The video raises the possibility that Lucasfilm could use the technology in future Star Wars projects. DeepFake techniques were used to create a flashback sequence with Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher for The Rise of Skywalker.

Check it out here.
