‘Zach Snyder’s Justice League’ Releases a New Trailer (VIDEO)

Zack Snyder dropped a Valentine’s Day gift for DC fans – a new Justice League trailer with lots of new imagery.

This is the first extended new look at the film since last year, and it was worth the wait. The new trailer (included below) features good looks at the legendary comic book villain Darkseid, as well as Jared Leto appearing as The Joker. Darkseid was supposed to be the villain in Snyder’s original vision for the film, but was dropped when he left the picture and Joss Whedon took over.

Kiersey Clemon will also appear as Iris West, another character dropped from the original film by Whedon.

Both critics and fans were underwhelmed with the film when it was released in 2017, and fans have lobbied since then for Warner Bros. to release the “Snyder Cut” – the director’s original take on the movie.

WarnerMedia fully committed to restoring Snyder’s vision, spending a rumored $70 million on filming new scenes and finishing visual effects. Snyder has confirmed that none of Whedon’s footage will appear in the new film, which is nearing four hours long.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League premieres on HBO Max on March 18th.

Here’s the trailer.
