‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’ Renewed for a Second Season

“Star Wars: The Bad Batch” will return for a second season on Disney+.

The “Clone Wars” spinoff series, which made its debut on May 4th, has been a hit with fans and critics. Created and executive produced by Dave Filoni, the series follows a group of experimental clones who go rogue after the events of Order 66.

Earlier today, Lucasfilm announced that a second season of the show would premiere on the Disney+ streaming service in 2022. The announcement comes on the eve of the premiere of the first part of the show’s two-part season finale.

Season one featured 16 episodes, but it isn’t clear how many episodes will be included in season two.
