‘The Matrix Resurrections’ Trailer is Finally Here (VIDEO)

It’s been a while, but Neo and Trinity are back in The Matrix Resurrections, and here’s the first trailer for the long-awaited sequel.

Keanu Reeves’ Neo and Carrie Anne Moss’ Trinity are living in San Francisco, near our current time, but they appear to have no recollection of the events of past films. The trailer reveals a definite red pill/blue pill color scheme, and some fantastic action.

The film also stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as a Morpheus-like character (if you don’t know, Morpheus is dead, killed in a Matrix video game from a decade ago that the Wachowskis consider canon). Jessica Henwick, Jada Pinkett Smith, Christina Ricci, Jonathan Groff, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Ellen Hollman, Daniel Bernhardt, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Neil Patrick Harris.

The Matrix Resurrections opens December 22 in theaters and on HBO Max.
