‘Ron’s Gone Wrong’ Releases a New Trailer

Ron’s Gone Wrong has dropped a new trailer ahead of its October 22 premiere.

The film tells the story of Barney, a socially awkward middle-schooler and Ron the B-Bot, his new walking, talking, digitally-connected gadget that’s supposed to be his ‘Best Friend out of the Box.’ Ron’s hilarious malfunctions launch them into an action-packed journey in which boy and robot come to terms with the wonderful messiness of true friendship.

The film features the voices of Jack Dylan Grazer (It Chapters 1 and 2) as Barney, and Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover) as the voice of Ron. The rest of the cast includes Ed Helms (The Hangover, The Office) as Barney’s dad, Olivia Colman (The Crown) as his grandmother Donka, and Rob Delaney (Bombshell, Catastrophe) and Justice Smith (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, The Get Down) as the manufacturers of the B-Bots who are alarmed when Ron’s rogue code is brought to their attention.

Ron’s Gone Wrong is distributed by Twentieth Century Studios and is the first animated feature film from the UK-based Locksmith Animation.

The movie is written by Peter Baynham and Sarah Smith (Arthur Christmas) and directed by Sarah Smith and Jean-Philippe Vine.
