‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 Drops a Teaser, Complete With Clues (VIDEO)
Netflix dropped a teaser trailer officially announcing Stranger Things Season 4, and as you might expect, it has a few hints on what’s to come.
In the teaser, included below, we see what appears to be the “Upside Down” version of Hawkins, as evidenced by the “Welcome to Hawkins” sign. We also see a home, and it appears to be either Hopper’s Cabin or the Byers home – online speculation seems split on what it is.
Oddly, we also see a clock on a tree showing a time of 4:00. The significance of that is unknown.
The teaser ends with the words “We’re Not in Hawkins Anymore.” Not only could this be a reference to the “Upside Down,” it could also mean the gang is going to Russia, a locale teased at the end of last season.
SPOILER ALERT: As we saw at the end of season three, Hopper appeared to die in an explosion in the secret Russian hideout, but his body was not found. An ending scene in a Russian gulag made a mention of an American being imprisoned there, leading many to believe that Hopper is alive and locked away.
Here’s the teaser.
A release date for season 4 has not been announced.
