Check Out the First Four Minutes of ‘Psych 2: Lassie Come Home’

Peacock has released the first four minutes of the upcoming movie Psych 2: Lassie Come Home, which is sure to get fans of the hit USA Network show excited for its release next month.

The film reunites the cast of the fan favorite show, which aired its final episode in 2014 with a USA Network movie in 2017.

The new film will focus strongly on Timothy Omundson’s character of Santa Barbara Police Chief Carlton Lassiter. Omundson suffered a stroke prior to the filming of the 2017 TV movie, so his appearance was reduced to a cameo.

In the new film, Lassiter is ambushed on the job and has to rehabilitate at a recovery clinic. There, he begins to see impossible, possibly supernatural, happenings around him, and asks Shawn and Gus to investigate.

Separated from their new lives in San Francisco, Shawn and Gus find themselves unwelcome in their old stomping grounds as they secretly untangle a twisted case. What they uncover will change the course of their relationships forever.

OK we took that from the official synopsis provided by Peacock, but it sounds dramatic, right?

Psych 2: Lassie Come Home will premiere on the new NBC video streaming service Peacock beginning July 15. It is available now for free for Xfinity Flex and X1 Customers. The service will be available to everyone on July 15.
