Nathan Fillion’s Comic Con Panel Featured ‘Firefly,’ ‘Castle’ Reunions (VIDEO)

The ‘Comic Con at Home’ event wrapped up Sunday with a panel featuring actor Nathan Fillion, and a few old friends dropped in to say hello.

The panel, hosted by “The Rookie” creator Alexi Hawley, was conducted via Skype and posted to YouTube and social media. Fillion, sporting a mustache, discussed the many highlights of his career, from “Firefly” to “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog” to “Castle” to his current cop show on ABC, “The Rookie.”

“A Conversation with Nathan Fillion” also featured a number of special guests. As Fillion discussed his time shooting “Firefly,” including his first Comic Con appearance in support of the show, series creator Joss Whedon joined the conversation. His “Firefly” cast members Alan Tudyk (who played Wash) and Gina Torres (who played Zoe) also appeared.

When the conversation turned to the show “Castle,” co-stars Molly Quinn (Alexis Castle), Seamus Dever (Kevin Ryan), and Jon Huertas (Javier Esposito) made an appearance.

Finally, actress Mekia Cox (Myla Harper) appeared to talk about “The Rookie.”
